Any good Gothic/Black/Melodic Death metal bands?

OK...so...I really like the fast intricate guitar/keyboard work heard in most power metal, but I'm not a fan of the standard "power metal vocals" (the high pitch soaring stuff) nor am I of female vocals. I don't mind clean vocals...but I would prefer death metal vocals...however if they switched back in forth that would be nice (like how Opeth does). Anything with atmospheric/melodic/symphonic/progressiv… qualities with varying tempos and of course some major riff-age would be AWESOME...thanks guys!!
