Can you paint on dry eraser board.?

I am repaintng my tween granddaughters bedroom with dots, We made a big dot on her wall with dry eraser board paint, but its white and her walls are white. I am doing the dots with a latex paint and I would like to give that dot some color. Can i use some of that paint to decorate the big dot?
