ESPN: Stanford has interest in Boise's Chris Peterson?

I know Peterson said he doesn't want to leave Boise, but with the possiblilty of big money it's possible for him to ditch Boise for Stanford. I believe Peterson is the lifeline for the Broncos, not Kellen Moore. Should Boise let Stanford talk to Peterson? Should they upgrade his contract?
