Teen !? What happened...?

Ok, I know teenagers go through puberty and get curious about , but it seems like more and more just skip past the explorations stage of male female interaction and go straight into ...and then the come to YA asking if they might be pregnant. So the questions I have are pretty straight forward. What are they teaching in ed in the school these days? And how should a parent approach conversations with kids about ? Its one thing to say talk to your kids...its another to figure out when that first conversation should occur and what should be covered. Should the conversation be different for boys versus girls? How often should these conversations be addressed after the first talk is initiated? At what age should a parent consider taking their kid to the doctor to start discussing female exams and contreceptions? I have my own ideas about all of these things, but I'm open to what others think. Because after all, we can learn a lot from each other. So sound off!
