Does it help evangelical credibility to make patently false claims?

Please explain how his 'translation of the dead sea scrolls', which you have in your possession, can be verified as being accurately translated from the actual scrolls. Who was responsible for that translation? Won't that just start yet another argument about things being lost in translation? Also, with which version of the bible are you comparing your copy of the d.s.s. ?
